Cluj continues to digitize parking spaces by installing the first 1200 parking sensors.

On September 15, 2020, Cluj Napoca City Hall announces that the installation of Bosch parking sensors in Cluj has started. These sensors will be monitored in the City Parking application, with which Vegacomp is partner (in Alba Iulia project).

This is a first stage in which the approximately 1200 Bosch parking sensors will be installed, with geomagnetic detection and LoRaWAN communication, through 9 gateways. Other areas would follow after the completion of this first area. We will see in time the operating mode, utility and the degree of accuracy and operation of these sensors and the system implemented in Cluj.

It is appreciated this pioneer from which the cities of Romania can learn. This intelligent parking system with sensors in Cluj comes after several overground public parking lots were built in Cluj, for which a parking application was made for the city center.
